Newtown Linford Parish Council Serving the people of Newtown Linford

Henry Silvester Richmond received a BA from Queens College Cambridge. He was ordained Deacon at the Parish Church of Buckden on the 18th December 1831.

The CCED records could be muddled they show two Institutions as Vicar on the same day. One at Breedon on the Hill and one at Ratby both on the 3rd March 1833. There is a resignation notice for Breedon on the 12th December 1833 and a Licensing as a Stipendiary Curate for Breedon on the Hill for 22nd January 1834. The latter stating £100 plus fees to reside.

It would appear that Ratby and Breedon on the Hill were a joint Parish they certainly had the same Patrons: The Earls of Stamford and Warrington.
