Local Reading of the Proclamation
A local reading of the Proclamation of the new Sovereign will be held in Newtown Linford on Sunday, 11th September.
The Proclamation of King Charles III becoming the new monarch will be read by Parish Council Vice-Chairman, Cllr. Tim Porte, at 4.30pm at All Saints' Churchyard on Bradgate Road.
Residents and members of the public are invited to join us for the reading.

HM Queen Elizabeth II
The Chairman, Councillors and Officer of Newtown Linford Parish Council are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.
