Maintenance above the tiled roof is problematic so reducing spread in this direction will allow for safer more efficient future management. The crown reduction will also aid in controlling the size and impact of the tree on the property. T3 - Sycamore Works - Remove Reason - Weak tight union at base, the tree is not occluding the weak union correctly to reduce the risk of failure. As the tree increases in size the forces on the weak union increase and failure becomes more likely. It is considered that the potential of damage / risk to safety in the event of failure does not warrant retention.
