He was an MA from Trinity College Cambridge. He was ordained a Deacon of Leicester St. Martin on the 4th June 1699. He was licensed as a Curate for Seagrave on the 23rd September 1700. He was appointed Rector of Swithland on the 6th December 1700. The records do not show anything for Newtown Linford.
